My true passion is waterfowl hunting. Even while in Iraq I still dreamed of whistling wings above my head while setting up decoys in the early morning. I started hunting when I was 10 years old, probably later than most, due to my father passing away when I was six. I was introduced to hunting by my best friend Mike Henderson and his dad Jim Henderson. My first hunting memory was getting up at 3:30 in the morning, wiping sleepers out of my eyes and thinking man this is crazy. Mike's dad made us breakfast as thoughts of what was to come filled my head. As I slipped on the waders everything seemed so surreal. We drove out to this corn field with a slough that runs parallel and began setting up. I heard a whistling noise above my head along with quacks, causing my hair to stand on end and sending a cold chill down my spine. It's amazing, like the birth of your own child, how you can love something without knowing or understanding it. I was addicted and there was nothing I could do. The feeling I had from that initial hunt is still with me today and I hope to pass on to my son, this obsession I have for waterfowl hunting. There are so many variables with duck hunting and I believe that is what makes us an elite breed. To me, hunting is more than getting up early, it's being with close friends, knowing when to call and when not to, decoy setup, being one with nature and embracing your primal instinct.

Hi my name is Logan Sparks and I live in Cisco, Illinois. I have been in pursuit of all waterfowl since I was about 13 and I've been addicted from day one. I have chased a fairly wide range of waterfowl from blue bills to wood ducks. I also love to chase the Giant Canadian Geese in the snowy cornfields. In the off-season I’ll hunt just about anything. I love to competition call when I get the opportunity and enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Loren Babe - Pro-Staff

My name is Loren Babe. I am 24 years old and I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I started hunting around the age of five, walking behind my dad chasing pheasants in Eastern Nebraska. I started hunting waterfowl about eight years ago. I was hooked from the minute the first group of geese was locked on the spread. My favorite way to hunt is out of a layout blind in a cornfield, although there is nothing like being waist high in water in the marsh with ducks circling overhead. In the off-season I enjoy golfing, fishing and watching baseball. Hunting, to me, is about going out and having some laughs with good people and if I don't get to pull the trigger, it's still better than any day at work.
